Follow an enquiry through to a quote
One record, one action, one owner: start with a visible process.
Define a useful enquiry
Over a representative week, list your incoming channels and the information needed for review. For a workshop, this might include project type, dimensions, location and plans. These are examples; the team must agree its own criteria.
Give every record a next step
Use five stages: received, missing information, in review, quote sent and closed. Assign an action, an owner and a date. A quote sent is a status reported by the team; it is not evidence of customer agreement or payment.
Test recovery and errors
Before automating, prepare four fictional cases: complete, incomplete, duplicate and interruption. Check that a retry does not create a second record. n8n error workflows can handle failed executions; the official documentation explains how they trigger and their limitations.
Start with a small scope
Begin with one channel and one tracking tool. Measure actual handling time before and after. Keep a manual recovery path. WASABIA already provides manual tracking on the server; connecting a customer’s incoming channel still requires an integration.
